Everyone wants to see the quarterback throw the long pass, to see the running back dodge into the melee and pop out the other side for an eight second run. Or if your team’s on defense you want to see anyone with the ball dropped behind the scrimmage line.
Did you see how that happened?
Well, no, you didn’t. Only 10,000 people in the United States saw how the big play happened. Because they’re football coaches, former footballers, or they on a roster but have the day off. They know that the keeping your eye on the ball is not the best way to watch football. They watch the eight to 10 guys (no gals yet that we know of) who are crouched in the middle to see a few key elements of play that determine success.
Those things would be, which side of the line moves the other backward, which offensive linemen pull out of the line to block at the edge or double up to create a hole. Which linemen hold their position to create a pocket or which on the other side pierce that pocket. 80% of the success and failure of the teams are created in those two yards on either side of the ball. And then, you can’t help but notice the “skill players” do their thing as the play unfolds to its middle and conclusion.
So it goes with the Dems and the GOP. Canvassing, get out the vote, early voting, mail-in voter tracking and motivation, and ballot harvesting are the centerpiece of politics in US today.
Consider these mundane tasks the blocking and tackling of election politics. You will lose if you cannot do all of them effectively over the course of the game. It’s a game that goes on for fourteen months prior to what we USed to call election day.
Are you listening Trump, Scott, Haley, Ramaswami, and the others? Do you care or is it too boring?
Ronna McDaniels, do you know what you’re doing in these pursuits? As the line coach, are you willing to spend countless hours thinking out whether to step with the right foot right or the left foot right and a little back, and the next player stepping with the left foot forward and a little left? Do you meet with the positions to go over the Arthur Murray of each play for each position, to memorize the steps and timing? Not too fast, wait a beat, charge ahead, lean forward on your right hip, swing your left arm first, turn your head left and lower your chin? That’s player one and you have ten more to do on first and second teams, for each of the 50 plays. And drill them, drill them, drill them.
Ronna McDaniels do you have the power to command this? Can you get others to join in on the coaching? Can you do this in 3,300 counties in US?

Get the values and policies of the Republican party out in front on the website, patriotism, family, capitalism, hard work, RRRHC. Include some survey information such as “What values do you think are most important to the GOP’s national campaign? What do you like about your Congressperson? What do you think are the five most important values we need to promote and recapture? What do you think are the most important initiatives and policies Republicans need to focus on? Which approaches do you think will provide the best possibility to win back the White House, the Senate, and retain and increase Republican majority in the House? If you can make one suggestion to each of the following candidates, what would that suggestion be?”
The boring stuff like registering one’s home for a meeting should be there, but for heaven’s sake, not on the first page!!
Next itemize all our players. I suggest a relational database, very simple. Of course all the demographics of each participant in each Congressional District within each county within each state (of course, they may not be strictly hierarchical) plus zips. At this point we need to commence an email contact phase concurrently signup/enlistment.
