Behind Closed Doors

Key Point. We keep hearing how “Mr. Joe is so focused and sharp in private meetings and one-on-ones” … Excuse me, but who the F cares?

Hey, I’m sorry (NOT), but I really don’t care how Joe is in private with Karine Jean Pierre or Chris Coons, Kamality Harris (as if anyone would rely on what she thinks passes as judgment). I don’t care what he does behind closed doors with Nancy. Amy Klobuchar. Let alone Joe’s wife! Truly, give me a break.

A President has to be able to talk in public,
to recite prepared speeches,
to respond extemporaneously,
to handle adversarial question lines,
to make pronouncements to friend and foe.
Bottom Line – – –

Public speaking is just part of the President’s Job.
If s/he cannot do that, US biggest weapon suffers without ammunition.

“Mr. President is just super at the Bully Pulpit, just only behind closed doors.”
As an aside, why do we hear virtually in unison that “The President is sharp” and “The President is focused”? Do the press, the pundits, the analysts, and KJP all have a script? Are all the news outlets and talking heads working out of the same thesaurus?
