Shooting Rats

Key Idea. There’s an easy and straightforward way to implement a good idea. One can always muck it up by adding more hairbrained and convoluted options, and when that’s not effective, the whole idea is tossed out. Witness our Southern Border, curated by Biden and MyYuckAss.

So, you got your idea or core concept, and you got your implementation.

I was sitting on my back porch, and over behind the trees I hear BBs being shot in my neighbor’s back yard. “Huh… wonder what he’s doing back there.” So I go on over. I go on over, out of the line of fire, which is – very important.

“What’s up.”
“Shootin’ various varmints, not the pets and deer and such, but weeding out the rodents mostly so they’re not in the house.”

“Why you doing that?”
“Well, some of em’s desirable and some not, just like everything. I mean if it’s people you just tell em to git, but the animals you got to be more direct and to the point.”

“I see. You’re right. I have the ones I like and those not suited, like maybe they’re unreformed criminals, or they need rehab. Illegal aliens. I don’t want them in my life.”
“Well these ones are not wanted; that’s for sure. Nor for my kids’ gymnasium

“Why are they coming; I don’t have them.”
“Well I got some cheese and crackers on my table and some cookies, and they keep coming for them.”

“Is your door closed?”
“I don’t want to close my door; I like my door open.”

“Have you thought about putting the cheese, crackers, and cookies in the cupboard – only giving them to the deer and pets? Isn’t it just easier to keep them out in the first place?”

“Then I wouldn’t have nothin’ to do; there’d be no problem.”
